Privacy Policy

Clutch Motors ("Clutch Motors", "we", "us", "our") provides vehicle rental options for rideshare and delivery drivers in Connecticut. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you submit a quote request form on this site, we collect the information you enter, which may include:

• First and last name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Intended length of rental
• Your city or ZIP code in Connecticut
• Preferred vehicle type and preferred contact method
• The rideshare or delivery platform you drive for, and whether your driver account is active
• When you need a vehicle, and any comments or questions you choose to write

You do not have to provide this information, but we cannot prepare a rental quote without at least your name, phone number and email address.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
• Pages viewed, time on page, scrolling and clicks
• The website or advertisement that referred you here
• Advertising click identifiers (for example Google's gclid) and campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and similar), which let us understand which advertisement produced your inquiry
• Cookie and analytics identifiers, including Google Analytics client and session identifiers

We store advertising and campaign identifiers in your browser (using local storage and cookies) for up to 90 days, so that we can correctly attribute your inquiry to the advertisement you originally clicked.

How we use your information

• To respond to your quote request and discuss available vehicles and rental terms
• To contact you by phone, text message or email about your inquiry
• To verify eligibility and prepare a rental agreement if you decide to move forward
• To measure and improve our advertising, website and forms
• To keep records, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations

Text messages and phone calls

Your consent, and how to stop. We send text messages only to people who have given express written consent by checking a consent box on our quote form. Checking a box is optional — you can request a quote without agreeing to receive text messages. We offer separate opt-ins for non-marketing messages (about your rental application and account) and for marketing messages (offers and promotions); each one is independent and optional. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or rental. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your consent applies only to messages from Clutch Motors and is not transferable or assignable to any other business. We are not a lead generator and we do not sell, rent or share your phone number with other businesses.

To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. Reply HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time using the contact details at the bottom of this page. Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent us from sending you messages strictly related to an active rental agreement.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that operate this website and our customer records, including our CRM and marketing platform (HighLevel), our website and hosting providers, and our communications providers for phone, text and email
• Analytics and advertising providers, including Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Microsoft (Clarity), which help us measure site usage and advertising performance
• Insurance, financing, fleet or vehicle partners, only where this is necessary to prepare or fulfill the rental you requested
• Legal and safety recipients, where we are required by law, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our property or the safety of others

Some of these providers may act as independent controllers of the data they collect through their own cookies and tags.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics and advertising measurement, including Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and Microsoft Clarity (which records anonymized session activity such as clicks and scrolling).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage Google advertising personalization at adssettings.google.com.

How long we keep your information

We keep quote requests and related records for as long as needed to respond to you and to run our business, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, tax, accounting or dispute purposes. Advertising identifiers stored in your browser expire after approximately 90 days.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, ask us to stop contacting you, or ask how your information has been used. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Children

This site is intended for adults who are legally able to enter into a vehicle rental agreement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Rental pricing, deposits, insurance requirements, mileage limits, maintenance responsibilities, eligibility and all other terms depend on the specific vehicle and are confirmed in writing in the final rental agreement before it is signed. Vehicle availability changes and is not guaranteed.

Eligibility

Renting a vehicle requires, among other things, a valid driver's license, proof of identity, and meeting the requirements that apply to the vehicle and to any platform you intend to drive for. Approval is not guaranteed.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete information in any form you submit
• Use this website lawfully, and not attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorized access to it
• Not submit another person's information without their permission
